Maria visited her alma mater Dec. 17, 2019, in particular to Wayne State’s Old Main, the historic building that is home of the music, painting and photography departments. She had a Panasonic Lumix G85 micro four thirds camera with a 12-60mm lens to take in the sights and memories. During her explorations she also used two of the camera's features for impromptu editing, the creative filters and in-camera multiple exposures.
Now making art at Ann Arbor Photographic Arts, her photo shoot turned into "animated kaleidoscopic photo designs", the latest in photographic artistry she is exploring at Ann Arbor Photographic Arts. Here her creativity is exponentially multiplied with a kaleidoscopic digital rendering technique that produces tens of thousands of blended designs in motion with each other, but each capable of being extracted from the video animation and printed on canvas or other media.
So click on the videos that are just one of the many artistic stories that can be told from this morning photo shoot at Old Main. Her eye spotted the skyline of Detroit and a collage on the bulletin board of the photography department from her trip to Philadelphia to the SPE 2018 conference. No need for a selfie on this day capturing her presence walking the hall of Old Main.
