In May of 1998, Evans and Ann Marie traveled to Russia on a mission, their second international trip, this time for the adoption of 5 year old Masha. Masha was the Russian “nickname” for girls named Maria. A year earlier they were in Russia and adopted Sasha (Alex) and Youri (George). The family was complete and back in Cincinnati, Ohio where grandparents Sam and Joan Sarris were staying with the boys. Also in this album were childhood friends from the James and Janice Kellaris family, Lydia and Christina. All five children have now grown up and are in their mid 20’s, starting to care for and raise the next generation of children.
